Passion, Baby

As we go round and round, round
The lights that were once circles
Have now become lines.
I feel your fingers brush against mine
Then I firmly grab a hold.
A feeling of safety has come over me
I take a long calming breath,
Only hoping that it slows the beat
Of my young adolescent heart.
The lines are turning back into circles
And the magical moment is almost over.
But I'm not ready to let go.
If only this feeling could last forever
I wouldn't need anything else.
You can't leave me now.
I've felt your touch and warmth,
It's burned into my hand, my heart.
But, alas, I see the ever-still circles.
My moment of bliss is over..

Your hand slowly slips from mine..

Our eyes cross paths..

Your eyes are bluest when you smile.
